"Bluey" special "The Sign" officially has a release date, Disney+ announced Sunday.
Fans of the blue heeler pup and her younger sister Bingo have anxiously awaited the reveal of the extended "Bluey" episode since Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) publicized in January that one was in the works.
“Bluey” was the most-watched kids show of 2023 across platforms, according to Nielsen's report. The series released 10 new episodes on Disney+ in January that will begin airing on the Disney Channel and Disney Junior March 25.
"The Sign" isn't the only exciting thing happening, however. Another surprise has been dropped. A new standard-length episode has also been announced.
Here's what to know about the releases of both.
'Bluey' special 'The Sign' release date
"Bluey" special "The Sign" will debut on Sunday, April 14, first on ABC Kids in Australia and then globally on Disney+, Disney Junior and the Disney Channel the same day, according to the release.
The 28-minute episode will not be airing in China or New Zealand at that time.
New 'Bluey' episode 'Ghostbasket' release date
Leading up to "Bluey" special "The Sign" will be a new, standard-length episode dubbed “Ghostbasket." The never-before-seen addition to the series will premiere a week prior to the special on Sunday, April 7, first on ABC Kids in Australia and then globally on Disney+, Disney Junior and the Disney Channel the same day.
Both the special and the standard episode were written by the show's creator, Joe Brumm. They were directed by Richard Jeffery and produced by Ludo Studio.

How old is Bluey? And Bingo?
Many fans want to know: what is Bluey's age range?
When the show started, Bluey and Bingo were 6 and 4. What just released on Disney+ is an extension of season 3 where Bluey and Bingo are 7 and 5 years old, according to Bluey's official website.
Who voices Bluey and Bingo?
In interview with Kidspot, Melanie Zanetti, who voices Bluey's mom, Chilli, confirmed the reason Bluey and Bingo's voice actors don't show up in the end credits.
The characters are voiced by those close to the show creators.
“All the children on the show are members of the family of people in production," Zanetti told Kidspot. "I am so glad that the creatives on the show decided that no one would be in the credits to protect the young cast."
