Blake Lively and Gigi Hadid have coined a new way to cosplay.
After the Gossip Girl alum and model shut down the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere, delivering an homage for each of its characters in red and yellow ensembles, the besties pulled out even more stops for the film’s after-party July 22.
Blake—who shares children James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and Olin, 17 months, with Ryan Reynolds—switched out her red jumpsuit for a tiny red and blue dress, complete with floral details around its skirt and neckline, as well as around her high ponytail and red heels.
Meanwhile, Gigi—who shares daughter Khai, 3, with ex Zayn Malik—went for a yellow trench coat, yellow heels, and the same small bag she carried on the red carpet, adorned with some Deadpool charms on its handles.
The duo arrived at the after-party festivities along with Ryan, who wore navy pants, a lighter blue silk button down shirt, which was opened to reveal a white tank top underneath. All three stars posed for photos as they made their way from their car and into the after-party festivities.
Earlier in the evening, Blake and Gigi had surprised fans of the film—helmed by Ryan as well as Hugh Jackman—by attending the red carpet together. The duo wore the most eye-catching looks of the evening, with Gigi channeling her inner Wolverine, while Blake, naturally, went for emulating her husband’s character.
Gigi’s original look saw her wearing a two-piece Miu Miu set—a tube top and mid length skirt—with a pair of black slingback heels and lots of chunky gold jewelry. For her part, Blake donned a skin-tight red bodysuit with black floral detailing, a black clutch and bold chunky black earrings.
And while Blake and Gigi’s premiere and after-party outfits proved they have one solid friendship, no relationship in Blake’s life could be as strong as the one she shares with Ryan. After all, the It Ends with Us star couldn’t help but gush at her husband’s upcoming film in a social media post ahead of the premiere July 22.
“I’ve never been more proud,” Blake wrote to Ryan on Instagram. “And I’ve given birth 4 times.”
