Khloe Kardashian isn’t the only one in her feels about True Thompson starting first grade.
The TwinSurpassing6-year-old celebrated her first day of school on Aug. 27, and her dad Tristan Thompson marked the occasion by sharing a series of photos with his daughter on Snapchat.
“Can’t believe it’s my twin’s first day of 1st grade already!!” the NBA star wrote. “Time flies so fast!”
Tristan also posed with True in front of the back-to-school rainbow balloon and crayon display that Khloe set up at her Calabasas, Calif. home.
“So excited and happy for this next chapter for my love,” Tristan, who also shares son Tatum, 2, with Khloe as well as son Prince, 7, with his ex Jordan Craig and son Theo, 2, with Maralee Nichols, wrote. “You make me so proud each and every day!”
Tristan, who splits his time between California and Cleveland, Ohio, praised his only daughter, writing, “I can’t wait to hear and see how magical first grade is for you! You are going to do great! We are so proud of you and love you so much!!”
The Cleveland Cavaliers star also referenced his late mother Andrea Thompson on Instagram, writing on his Aug. 27 post to True, “I know Gigi’s looking down on you and she is sooo proud of you and how amazing you are and how you’re the best big sister. I love you Tutu.”
Though Khloe and Tristan split in December 2021 after it was revealed that he had fathered another child with Maralee while in a relationship with Khloe, the exes have remained dedicated to co-parenting their two kids.
“Sometimes I hate how much I have to think and be on guard,” Khloe shared of interacting with Tristan in a May episode of The Kardashians, “to not do anything that might ever give a glimmer that there’s hope.”
As for Khloe’s reaction to her eldest’s first day of school, the reality star got candid about the struggle she faced with the big milestone.
“It’s always such a rollercoaster of emotions when True starts a new school year,” Khloe wrote on Snapchat on Aug. 26. “I’m not going to lie, I am having a really hard time processing the fact that she’s going into first grade.”
