Olivia Wilde is celebrating her youngest.
The Don’t Worry Darling director shared a tribute to her daughter Daisy—who she shares, in addition to 10-year-old Otis, with ex Jason Sudeikis—to celebrate her 8th birthday.
And the 40-year-old proved Daisy is certainly growing up with a rare photo on her Instagram story, writing along with an ‘8’ turned to look like an infinity sign, “Happy birthday to my favorite woman on the planet.”
Daisy’s birthday tribute is a rare life update from the Booksmart director—especially when it comes to her two kids. While she’s shared some sly photos this summer of her daughter enjoying a New York City lifestyle, complete with trips to the playground with Otis, the last time she shared insight into her kids was during the SAG-AFTRA strike during summer 2023.
“Core memories include learning about corporate greed,” she wrote in a post with her and the Ted Lasso star’s two kids, “even when you wanna love Netflix.”
Despite their rare glimpses into family life, Olivia and Jason—who split in 2020 after nearly 10 years together—have made it clear that coparenting their kids is their number one priority.
“They are trying to put their kids first,” an insider told E! News in 2022. “And do what’s best for them.”
The former couple have done just that in the last few years—switching off custody week to week. And Olivia is not the only one who gives insight into family time. Otis and Daisy recently made an appearance during Jason’s Christmas interview on ESPN’s Bird & Taurasi Show.
“These are the elf’s elves,” Jason joked as he donned a Buddy The Elf Christmas onesie from Will Ferrell’s Elf. “New York kids.”
The Saturday Night Live alum has also shared that his kids have taken a liking to soccer since his AppleTV+ series took off, with Otis particularly “getting into it big time.”
“My little boy is really taken with the sport, oddly enough, the second we got back to the states," he explained to Access Hollywood in 2023. “And now the stuff we play on FIFA, he's all in.”
